Systems Administrator
RØDE a global leader in high-quality audio technology, is seeking an experienced System Administrator to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced and innovative environment where you will be a key part of ensuring the security, performance, and reliability of our IT systems and services.
Key Responsibilities:
• Business Security: Oversee CCTV and alarm monitoring to ensure the physical security of company assets.
• Technical Troubleshooting: Provide support by resolving desktop, printer, hardware, networking, and software issues, maintaining both Windows and Mac environments.
• Server Infrastructure Management: Administer and manage server infrastructure, ensuring continuous uptime and optimal performance.
• Cybersecurity: Proactively monitor systems and networks, protecting against potential cyber threats and vulnerabilities.
• Coaching & Mentoring: Guide and mentor Level 1 support staff, helping them develop technical and customer service skills.
• Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation related to system configurations, processes, and service records.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for system enhancements and process optimizations to improve internal systems and workflows.
Qualifications:
• A bachelor's degree in IT or related field, and/or relevant industry certifications.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Azure and Office365 platforms, with certifications preferred.
Skills:
• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Intune and Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Effective communication skills, both oral and written.
• Strong understanding of networking principles and practices.
• Experience with Linux and Apple systems is a plus.
• Good understanding of AI Language Models (LLMs) and their practical applications.
Experience:
• Proven experience in networking and systems administration.
• Solid hands-on experience with desktop and server operating systems, including Windows 11, Windows Server, and MacOS.
• In-depth knowledge of Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, GPO, RDS, File & Print Services, and related technologies.
• Familiarity with Entra AD and other Microsoft 365 services.
• Experience with backup technologies, specifically Veeam.
• Previous experience in customer-facing support roles, particularly in high-pressure environments.
• Experience with Microsoft Intune or similar MDM solutions.
• Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices to protect organizational data.
